GENERAL INFO
Take it all of your stay, Ithaca, Scorpios, Meganisi.
Ithaca’s north bays are famous not only for exceptional waters and nature, but also for the unusual view of many surrounding islands. Even though it’s not possible to land on the Skorpios Island, we can pass by close to see this legendary Ionian island, once a private paradise of a shipping magnate, Aristotle Onassis. Sea caves are important attractions in Meganisi and the famous Papanikoli Cave is a must see, since it’s got its fame because it was used as a hiding place for one of the most successful Greek submarines- “Papanikolis”, during the World War II. Meganisi picturesque villages are known for the coasts lined up with many cafeterias and great fish taverns, which would be shame not to check out.
