Once on board the boat, we set off to Gidaki on the south-eastern coast of Ithaka for a swim in the warm, clear waters of a cliff surrounded bay. We then enjoy the delights of a cruise below majestic mountains and amazing scenery through to the hidden deep bay of Vathi. We by-pass Lazaretto Island and dock in the port for coffee, visits to the two museums, a cathedral and shops where the locals have excellent hand-crafted produce.

A leisurely cruise then takes us up to the amazingly beautiful port of Kioni with its fishing boats, windmills, forts and fabulous eateries for lunchtime. The fresh breezes of the Ionian Sea accompany us as we return back to Sami.
